The Baylor Bears are the 2021 Men’s National Champions. This is the first time the team has ever won this title.
After a rough season taking off three weeks due to COVID-19 related reasons, they fought hard and are the new champions.
Baylor started the game leading by nine points. The team was up 10 points at halftime with a score of 47-37.
Baylor maintained the lead the entire game, winning it by 16 points with a score of 86-70.
Gonzaga was favored by 4.5 points, they were undefeated this season. Although they had a fairytale season, Baylor is the team with the Cinderella story in the end.
